President Donald Trump's nominee to become the United State Attorney General - former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz - is facing a steep climb towards confirmation in Congress. House Speaker Mike Johnson has urged the committee to not release the report, which potentially contains damaging information regarding the allegations by several women who claim Gaetz had sexual relations with minors. Will the Senate demand to see the report before they vote?

Since President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law - colloquially referred to as Obamacare - tens of millions of Americans have since been able to access health insurance. A major cost-offset in the law are the federal subsidies, which can lower the cost of premiums and other out-of-pocket health care costs. President Biden and Democrats in Congress increased these subsidies in 2021, resulting in a major boost in the number of Americans who have access to quality health insurance. However with these subsidies set to expire in 2025, just as Republicans take control of the House and the Senate. Will these federal subsidies be removed, as many federal Republicans have pledged?
