TikTok is facing a ban within the United States this upcoming January, with Washington citing national security concerns over data being shared with China. Congress passed a law that was signed by President Biden earlier this year, which would ban TikTok in the U.S. unless ByteDance divests itself of the app. Will incoming President Donald Trump reverse the ban when he takes office in 2025? 

President Trump announced that Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk have been selected as the co-chairs of DOGE - the Department of Government Efficiency. Of the $516 Billion in government spending in Washington that has not already been authorized by Congress, which programs are at risk of having their funding cut? 

Donald Trump’s choice of Robert F Kennedy Jr - the son of the estimable statesman Bobby Kennedy - to lead the sprawling Health & Human Services Department as its Secretary is the wrong choice. Senators in Washington, both Republicans and Democrats, would be wise to reject his nomination. 

The War in Ukraine is now almost 3 years in duration. The devastating conflict has seen Russian losses upwards of 650,000, and Ukrainian losses over 31,000. And of most potential consequence for the world, all sides are noting that new technology implemented by soldiers in the war - specifically drones and GPS units to provide a full picture of th battlefield - has forever changed the landscape of warfare.
