David Imamura was elected to the Westchester County Board of Legislators in a special election on February 27, 2023 to represent District 12, comprised of Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Edgemont, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson, and Irvington. He was re-elected that November to a full two-year term that began in January ’24. He is the first Asian-American to serve on the Board of Legislators. Legislator Imamura serves as the Chair of the Saw Mill River Watershed Advisory Board. He also is a member of the Health, Housing, Human Services, Human Rights & Equity, Law & Major Contracts, and Legislation committees.
